Hi my name is Sarah and I am the author of Lost Swiss Miss. This blog will document my day hikes and travel’s in Switzerland, and in Occasion my travels abroad.
I started this blog, to document my day hikes and travel in Switzerland and on occasions my trips aboard.
This blog started in 2012 with a new year resolution from Lady on a Rock. Here my post on that topic Hike a Week.
Easy and Simple Rule:
- Hikes must be on a natural surface (dirt, snow, grass, rocks, water, sand, etc.) and once a week.
I loved the idea as it would go hand in hand to explore and discover Switzerland. (Of course the other reason was to get out more and not be stuck indoors.)
I coudn’t keep my resolution in 2012 due to a number of reasons but all in all I did more last year then the year before and I will try harder in 2013 to reach my goal this year.
The name “Lost Swiss Miss” came about, not that I am lost or get lost all the time, but usually at some point in a trip, I take the wrong turn and either have to hike back or end up finishing it in another town than originally planned. With this blog I want to share all my little mishaps and learn from them. Also share what a beautiful place Switzerland is.
