The last weekend I had visits from Germany. The requested a trip to the mountains and I wanted to go somewhere nice, probably to Graubünden. But with a lot of things life gets in the way and my friends had some commitments late into friday and with that I looked closer to Zurich.
My decision was to go somewhere around Einsiedeln, a ski area that is about an hour away.
This is a nice hike, at the top awaits you a nice mountain hut restaurant with views of the valley and big and small Mythen. (as you can see above at the featured picture)
On our way down I was looking for a junction do take a different way. The one we took looked well traveled but after a few hundred meters, we soon realised that we will have to wade through the snow. This didn’t faze us, it was fun and in the end some of us had wet feet.
